Crossbones to Play Crane Lane Theatre, February 15

Crossbones will be a part of Mad Pride Benefit Gig at Crane Lane Theatre, Cork on Friday 15th February 6pm-7pm. Tickets are €10. Ticket holders will receive a free copy of the Crossbones CD.

CROSSBONES is made up of some of Ireland's brightest young talents on the Irish music scene. Eoghan Kelly, Paul Frost (Trombones), Phil Collins (Keyboard), Deirdre Frost (Bass), Steve Kelly (Drums) Boasting the unique line up of trombone & bass trombone, CROSSBONES offer a
fresh perspective on jazz music. They will be performing their own original material. All of the compositions on the album were composed by the members of the group, as well as two pieces composed especially for the group by IFTA award winning Irish composer Brian Byrne & Bruno
Heinen, a leading jazz musician on the UK scene.

All the members of the group have performed with numerous Irish and international jazz musicians such as Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Louis Stewart, Curtis Fuller, Syd Lawrence Orchestra & Michael Buckley. Members of the group have also performed with major Irish talent such as Sharon Shannon, Declan O Rourke and John Spillane along with the RTE Symphony & Concert Orchestra, the Irish Film Orchestra, Ute Lemper, Curtis Stigers, Claire Martin and many, many more. Trombonist Paul Dunlea will make a guest appearance.
