I never watched Survivor, but if his brother is anything like him I can understand why they want him out.
So far, Willie has been humble and innocuous compared to Russell. Russell is a disgusting, misogynistic and delusional egomaniac. I don't know why CBS is still trying to get mileage out of him and his family. It didn't work for Russell's nephew on Survivor.
I think Ian is hilarious. His anxiety-ridden facial expressions are so entertaining. I think if he's giving people the creeps, he's clearly unaware of it. If someone would just address it with him, it would probably be resolved quickly. Voting him out at this stage would be a wasted move since he's probably easily influenced and clearly not a threat at this point in the game.
If the Janelle/Britney teams continue to work together, the best move for the players is to drill down to an internal alliance between those two teams (F4 including 2 from each team and F2 from one team). The problem with the whole coach idea is that their strategy in alliances is already restricted to the three they chose, so we'll not likely to see much shift in alliances unless the players collaborate to abandon loyalty to their coaches.
I think the mindset set is…Britney and Janelle will get rid of all of Dan and Boogies people and then fight it out themselves. Witch with the moves Willie made…looks like it'll happen.
Well, there are already too many mistakes with this nomination with regards to strategy. The Britney/Janelle alliance is pretty transparent and Willie jumped the gun with Frank without thinking it through. Putting up one of Janelle’s players as a pawn would have been the best move. It could have been solidified trust with Janelle and Britney without revealing their alliance to Dan and Mike. Britney and Janelle still would have enough votes to evict someone from Dan or Mike’s team even if they won POV and been replaced with another member of one of their teams. OR…since Dan is already down one player, you put up his remaining two, which would be an obvious strategic move and totally logical, reducing his chances at having an HOH.
Once Willie made a deal with Frank, all he had to do was provide compelling reasons to evict anyone other than Frank from Mike or Dan’s teams, which wouldn’t have been difficult given that both players on Dan’s team would have been the obvious choice. Now, Willie has made himself a vulnerable target should Frank reveal their conversation. Willie’s only choice is to convince Frank that he’s a pawn and pray that Frank wins POV. Luckily, whoever gets evicted won’t be on the jury, though BB could decide to allow someone back in again, but there’s been no mention of that.
I did love the fact that Dan and Mike thought Janelle and Britney were too dumb to form an alliance when they had already done so.
Mister Matt- I also couldn't figure out why Willie didn't put up both of Dan's players. That seemed like the most obvious thing to do, and could easily be understood as great strategy by all the houseguests and coaches. Now Frank will be after Willie, not to mention Mike will want revenge for Willie not taking his advice. I would have played along with Mike's suggestion to put the annoying Chef up (forewarning Britney and Janelle) and then voting either Kara or Danielle out.
I also loved when Mike and Dan were making fun the Britney and Janelle. Whenever things don't go Mike's way it makes me happy.
I also feel like Ian would be a good person to make an alliance with. No one takes him as a serious threat and I bet if you could win him over he'd be very loyal. He could skate by the early eliminations and really help you in the end. I bet he does really well at the mental/trivia challenges sure to come.
I hope so. Ugh, he is so vile, but really SO much fun to hate. If I have to hear one more comment about, "I won All-Stars, Dan only won against idiots, and the blondes are just rejects," I will spit. It is enjoyable to watch Britney and Janelle go on their smear campaign against Boogie.
I really think Kara is going to go home tonight, but Frank seems the much stronger player. What would be the reason not to vote him out?
Shane must have a big target on his back. He's good at the challenges and on a strong team with Willie and Jojo.
I really want the chef to go home. He annoys me.
I'm still waiting for the coaches to join the competition and watch Janelle kick some ass! I really want to meet her- I bet she'd be fun to grab a drink with.
We laugh every time he starts with the "I won All-Stars!" He only won because Will gave it to him - Will did all the work! I think Janelle is such a strong player that she is often voted out BECAUSE of that. I hope she puts Mike in his place.
If only it had been Mike vs Janelle at the end and not Mike vs Erika of All-Stars then Janelle would have won. (Really the two deserving people were Janelle and Will.)
Very good episode! I don't want to spoil anything unless someone says ok but did anyone pay attention to all those rumors popping up after the show aired?
I really didn't get the whole Fruit Loops argument. Was it like "I drink your milkshake"? But it really was a fun episode. Sad to see Janelle going behind Britney's back and chumming up to Boogie. Gross. But she's obviously trying to bail on Britney since Willie was proving to be unstable. The new Coach Competition could shake things up a bit. It's definitely a chance to break up this coach-loyalty thing that has made the game lopsided.
The fruit loops argument was ridiculous. Willie made some comment about eating fruit loops in the heat of his ranting and it got blown up into something bigger. It was similar to "I drink your milkshake" but far less eloquent.
I don't know what to make of Willie. He's clearly paranoid, but I think the whole "he made fun of Wil and made homophobic remarks" was blown WAY out of proportion. If all he did was what they showed last night, that was hardly an attack on his being gay. That was hardly more than some of the things others have said about people in the house - not something to cause a derailment of strategy. I don't know.
The whole Willie mocking Wil thing was a convenient excuse to stir things up and place a target on Willie. I didn't think it was any more homophobic than adopting Britney's tone for something stupid statement of hers would be misogynistic. And Wil's comment about abandoning gameplay for 24 hours was a pretty dumb thing to say in front of everyone. People are blowing up and getting very paranoid and sensitive extremely early in the game this season.
I blame Boogie. Not for any logical reason. Just because I can't stand him. Every time he's on the screen, my living room walls and windows are suddenly covered in flies.
According to multiple sources of individuals who normally interview the evicted houseguests, they have been told that Kara cannot be interviewed by the producers. In the cases that she is being interviewed, the questions must be emailed in and then sent back. In other words, no live interviews and no one has heard from her since she left. Most are assuming this means that she is being sequestered and will have a chance to come back in. In all likelihood, the next few evicted houseguests will all be sequestered and have a chance to come back in a new twist - maybe an America's vote like last year or some sort of competition?
There was no exit interview with Jodi, either. It might end up being a Coach Challenge where the winner gets to choose an evicted house guest back in on their team.
