Helena is an actress and singer from County Kilkenny. Helena has performed as a support act for James Taylor, Katie Melua and Bob Geldof for the Source Festival, Nolan Park, Kilkenny; Glenstall Abbey Sanctuary Concert alongside renouned Irish singers Moya Brennan and Cara O’Sullivan; Third place winner in 2fm Young Songwriter’s Competition, Vicar’s Street, Dublin. Performer as the Lady of the Castle for Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquets, Co. Clare; Backing vocalist for New York R n' B artist Angela Watson;
Helena began her theatre training in the USA in 2008 and worked for various theatres around the country, including performing as Widow Corney in Oliver for Belfast Maskers Theatre, Maine; Sound designer and production assistant for Performance Network Theatre's production of Christmas Carol, Michigan; Performed with broadway composer/pianist Rick Hip-Flores at Bay Street Theatre, NY; Interned at Playwrights Horizons Theatre, NY. Having completed a theatre apprenticeship with The Irish Repertory Theatre, NY in 2010, Helena returned to Ireland to begin her training with the Gaiety School of Acting. She is the current artistic director of The Break-Away Project Performance Group, based in Dublin.
